ABOUT TAYSHIA

Tayshia Adams is a television personality and podcast host who is most recently known for her role as the first ever biracial lead on ABC’s hit show The Bachelorette Season 16 as well as a current co-host of The Bachelorette Season 17. Tayshia, the proud daughter to her Black father Desmond and Latina mother Rosario, feels very connected to both sides of her family’s roots and heritage. She is the co-host of her podcast, Click Bait with Bachelor Nation, where she dishes on the latest pop culture headlines weekly. In her free time, Tayshia loves to travel and is passionate about beauty, fashion, her faith and fitness, in particular boxing and running, the latter being a passion and pastime for her since she was young. Relating to and helping women be themselves and love the skin they’re in is something that is very important to Tayshia, and she enjoys connecting with her loyal fanbase via social media.

In 2019, Tayshia first appeared on The Bachelor, winning over Bachelor Nation with her infectious energy and instantly becoming a fan-favorite. She then returned to TV on the sixth season of Bachelor in Paradise before becoming the inspiring lead on The Bachelorette, which culminated to an endearing engagement with her current fiancé, Zac Clark – a proposal which the Washington Post declared “one of the best TV scenes of the year.” 

Adams is bicoastal, living between Los Angeles, CA and New York City, NY. She is currently training for the New York marathon.
